World Yoga Day celebration held at Maryknol High School, Barkur. The event was presided over by the Principal, Mrs. C. Jasmitha. Students sang the prayer song during the program. Mr. Ramananda welcomed the gathering, and Mr. Harry delivered an inspirational speech. The chief guest, Mr. Madhusudan Pai, conducted a yoga demonstration for the students. He was honored by the school and Rotary Club members.
Mr. Subramanya, the President of Barkur Rotary Club, along with Mr. Madhusudan, presented awards and certificates to the students as a token of appreciation. Ms. Rashmi, the CHO at the Barkur Primary Health Center, was present on the stage. The program was anchored by Mr. Manohar, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Sulochana. The students were treated with delicious refreshments at the end of the event.
