K Shivarudraiah is an award winning Indian film Director, who has worked predominantly in Kannada movie industry, started his career with the movie Maleya Makkalu. Shivarudraiah's previous film to hit the theatres was Daatu in the year 2009. Latest movie which K. Shivarudraiah has directed is Maarikondavaru. He won many accolades awards including Baba Saheb Ambedkar Prashasthi and Karnataka Rajyothsava Prashasthi.
The film Ramana Savari is based on the story by K Sadashiva and has screenplay and dialogues by acclaimed director Girish Kasaravalli.
