Parishioners of St. Peter's Church in Barkur celebrated Fraternity Sunday, also known as the Festival of Brotherhood, on Sunday, December 17, 2023. The celebration was part of the parish annual festival.
The main celebrant for the Mass was Rev. Fr. Sunil Veigas, the parish priest of St. Antony’s Shrine in Kerekatte. In his sermon, he delivered a beautiful message about brotherhood.
The festival mass also had the participation of Rev. Fr. Vishal Lobo, Reverend Fr. Rolwin Fernandes, and Reverend Fr. Ronald Miranda, the parish priest of St. Peter's Church in Barkur.
As part of the ongoing festivities, 'Vespers' will be celebrated tomorrow, Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 7:00 PM in the church premises.
