The event, which took place on the school premises, saw the inauguration of the student council and various clubs, setting the stage for a year of growth, learning, and student empowerment.

The proceedings commenced with the symbolic lighting of the lamp, a gesture performed by Mr. Archibald Furtado, the esteemed administrative coordinator overseeing all institutions under the Barkur Educational Society. In his address to the gathering, Mr. Furtado emphasized the core tenets of effective leadership. "For leaders, you have to keep trust, faith, and expectations," he stated, underlining the significance of these qualities in guiding others. He further added, "Leadership should be done with perfection," setting a high bar for the newly elected student representatives.

The event was presided over by Mr. Rajaram Shetty, the school's correspondent, who shared his insights on the importance of such initiatives.
