The Flag Hoisting Ceremony for the 78th Independence Day was held at the 6th Gram Panchayat, Barkur, presided over by Panchayat President B Shantharam Shetty.
Panchayat members, the Headmistress and teachers of the Government School, students, local citizens, and Gram Panchayat staff were in attendance.
Mr. Santhosh, a Panchayat staff member, welcomed everyone, the President addressed the gathering, and the program concluded with a vote of thanks.
