Get together by SPA in Mumbai

A heart that beats for the native place - Fr.Valerian Mendonca attends the get together of SPA in Mumbai

 

 

“Its big task in itself to gather the families scattered around Greater Mumbai and despite these hardships, St.Peter’s Association has successfully kept alive the family spirit among Barkurians residing in Mumbai. They have taken the cause of Education to the needy people, both in native place and in Mumbai exemplifying themselves to the other associations.  With a heart that beats for native place, this association has been the voice of Barkurians in Mumbai for the last twenty five years”, said Rev.Fr. Valerian Mendonca , Parish Priest of the church of St.Peter, Barkur. He was speaking on the occasion of a get together arranged for his honor at the banquet hall of the Hotel Host Inn, Marol,  Andheri by  St.Peter’s Association, (Barkur) Mumbai , one of the most  premier associations of Mangaloreans in Mumbai, also known as SPA.

 

Simon Peter Furtado, President of the association welcomed Fr. Mendonca with a flower bouquet.  Eric Carvalho, Secretary briefed about the association and  its contributions to the native place. Former President and the president of the Silver Jubilee Committee Henry Roche and Exceutive President Ida Roche announced the future projects.  Vice President Norbert Menezes, Former Presidents Felix Barnes, Richard Carvalho, Henry Roche were present on the stage and Treasurer Antony Dais proposed the vote of thanks.

 

 

Well wishers of the association Harry Rebello, Precilla Lawrence Quadras, members of the executive committee Rolph Montheiro, Wilfred Sequeira, Boney Sequeira , Normon D’Souza and others were present at the occasion.
