The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Nation Junior College. The event commenced with Principal Kotra Swamy U. hoisting the national flag, accompanied by Correspondent Gopal Naik and Mrs. Hemavathi B.S., in the presence of teachers and students. The celebrations continued at Kalabhavan, where Correspondent Gopal Naik led the function.
The chief guest, Ashok Kumar Shetty, Secretary of the Educational Society of Barkur, delivered an inspiring address, highlighting the importance of this significant day. Mr. Archibald Furtardo, Mrs. Hemavathi B.S. (Headmistress), and Mr. Uday Shetty (Headmaster) were also present.
Students organized a lively entertainment program, which was well-received by the public, parents, and teachers. The event concluded with the distribution of sweets which were sponsored by correspondent Gopal Naik B.
