Ramana sawari wins third place in bifees international film festival

It’s a proud moment not only to the parents of, just 6 years talented tiny tot  Aaron Pais, Mrs. Swapna and Stroiny Pais and his family, but also to the Barkurians, when a Movie ‘Ramana Savari’ won Prestigious Third Place in the just concluded 11th edition of International Film Festival (BIFFES) in Bangalore.

   This year Nature’s Fury was the theme for the competition and this film is based on the story written by veteran K Sadhashiva. Ably directed by K Shiva Rudrayya, deals with family, the relationship of male and female, parents and social responsibilities….It’s at the backdrop of Malnad scenario of 1970’s and an effective display of the events narrating the difference of opinion in parents and how that effects the growth of son….Sonu Gowda and Rajesh Nataranga done justice to the parents roles and Girish Kasaravalli has written dialogues…Among others Sudha Belavadi, Bhargavi Narayan played other dominant roles….Camera work by Vishwanath and K Kalyan provided the soothing music…as the film produced by M/s Sudha Creations owned by Mrs. & Mr. Swapna Stroiny Pais, Barkur.

   
   As many as 223 entries, from 50 countries were there in this year’s competition and Aaron made a promising entry in the filmdom. It’s worth a note that, dad Stroiny was a versatile stage actor in Barkur.
