SVVNEM SCHOOL in Barkur commemorated Environmental Day with a series of creative activities, showcasing the students' dedication to environmental awareness. Students ranging from the 1st to the 10th standard participated enthusiastically, making the event a resounding success.
The 1st to 3rd standard students actively participated in the program by bringing various green vegetables, fruits, and plants. With great enthusiasm, they explained to their fellow students how these essential items are derived from nature and the significance of their usage. Through these activities, the young students were able to grasp the importance of the environment in our lives.
Continuing the spirit of creativity, the 4th to 7th standard students demonstrated their artistic skills by writing catchy slogans on leaves. The leaves became their canvas, allowing them to express their thoughts and ideas about nature. Additionally, they drew captivating pictures representing the beauty of the natural world. These imaginative displays served as a testament to the students' understanding of the environment and their ability to communicate its importance through art.
The 8th to 10th standard students took the initiative to raise awareness about environmental issues by preparing and presenting various picture charts. These visually appealing displays effectively conveyed messages promoting environmental consciousness. The students also organized a mesmerizing song on the environment, adding an enchanting musical element to the program.
Mrs. Likitha Kotary, Headmistress of SVVNEM SCHOOL, wholeheartedly appreciated the efforts put forth by the students and commended their innovative ideas.
