Members Hosal Rosary Ward celebrated their Ward Day with great enthusiasm on Sunday late evening (16/10/2022) in the house premises of Ward Leader Mrs Jessy Menezes.
Function began with Rosary Devotion. Mrs Jessy Menezes welcomed the gathering. Parish Priest of St Peter Church Barkur Rev Fr Philip Neri Aranha, Vice President of Parish Council Mr Herald Dsouza, Secretary Mrs Vivet Lewis, Sister Superior of Convent Sr Jesmitha Crasta along with other Sisters, Leaders of other Wards, Presidents of various Church Organisations were present for the occasion. Ward Secretary Mr Edna Gonsalves presented the report of the Ward activities for last five years.
Youth, Elders and Children of the ward came together and presented entertaining cultural programs. Guests and Invitees thoroughly enjoyed the Dance, Singing, Skit presentation by the Ward Members.
On behalf of everybody present, Sr Jesmitha Crasta, Mr Herald Dsouza and Rev Fr Philip Neri Aranha spoke and appreciated the efforts taken by the Ward Members to celebrate their Ward Feast and also uplifted the importance of such events which renew the brotherhood and unity amongst people.
Ward Representative to Parish Council Mr John Picardo delivered the vote of thanks, Ward member Mr Franklin Fernandes anchored the entire program. The evening ended with sumptuous dinner which was prepared by Ward members and also Baila Dance.
